The Art Behind Our Prints
Priti Raj · 2 June 2026
Every Noor-e-Prit piece starts the same way: not with a trend, but with a feeling. A colour we cannot stop thinking about, a motif from an old doorway, the way light falls on a courtyard in the afternoon. That feeling becomes a sketch, and the sketch becomes a print.
Designed in-house, made to be worn
We design our prints ourselves, in our own studio. That means the palette, the scale of a motif, the rhythm of a repeat, all of it is considered for how a real woman will actually wear it. A print should flatter, not overwhelm. It should feel as right on an ordinary Tuesday as it does at a celebration.
Because the work is ours, no two collections feel borrowed. You will not find our florals on a hundred other labels, and that is the point.
Where the hand comes in
Not every piece needs embroidery, and we are honest about that. Some of our favourite designs are simply a beautiful print on a beautiful cloth. But where a piece calls for it, we add hand detailing: a line of thread along a neckline, a scatter of small motifs, a finish you feel before you can name it.
The result is ready to wear, never fussy, and always a little more special than it first appears.
Small batches, on purpose
We make in small batches. It keeps each edit considered, lets us choose better cloth, and means your piece is never one of thousands. It is slower, and we think it shows.
When you wear Noor-e-Prit, you are wearing a small piece of that studio, that afternoon light, that first feeling. We hope it feels like art you can live in.
